Elvis Costello bid farewell to David Letterman last night as the English rocker returned to the Late Show with David Letterman stage for the 27th time last night. Costello delivered a heart-wrenching medley featuring Nick Lowe’s “When I write the Book” and his own “Everyday I Write the Book.”
Currently, Costello is readying for a show in Seattle before jetting off to England for a series of shows beginning May 30 in Salisbury. Later this year, he will also hit the road with Steely Dan for an extended tour through North America. Consult the full schedule here.
