Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford, Jim James and Rhiannon Giddens came together for the first time last night as The New Basement Tapes made their TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The collective debuted “Lost on the River,” the title track from their forthcoming album which reimagines a collection of previously lost Bob Dylan lyrics.

Costello, Mumford, James and Giddens joined forces along with Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith and many others to compile 20 T-Bone Burnett-produced tracks that were created from lyrics written by the folk hero around 1967.
