Eddie Vedder was in Chicago last night, and every time he’s in Chicago it seems like he ends up at Wrigley Field to do something. Last night, the Pearl Jam frontman led Wrigley in “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh inning stretch against the Mets. And would you look at that–the Cubs won 6-1 on yet another big night from soon-to-be world dominator Kris Bryant. 

But Vedder wasn’t done there. He then made his way across town to Martyr’s where Simon Townshend was playing a solo show. Vedder surprised the intimate crowd when he jumped on stage for a pair of Townshend tunes, including “She Asked Me” and “I’m the Answer,” the latter of which Townshend has joined Pearl Jam on in the past.
