Today atop to Space Needle in Seattle, Dave Matthews raised the ceremonial 12th Man Flag to signify the impending Super Bowl which will feature the hometown Seahawks and New England Patriots. While the game is in Glendale, Arizona, Seattle is rallying around their Hawks as the team returns to the big game for the second straight year.

Matthews has been spotted on the sidelines of a number of big Seahawks game in the last few years. The Seattle resident most notably took in the NFC Championship in 2014 which saw the home team come out on top, eventually leading to their Super Bowl win last year.

The DMB bandleader reminisces about the team’s current path to the Super Bowl this year and then hoists the flag (which he had a little trouble with) high above Seattle. Watch the replay below.
