Watch: Dave Matthews Band Launch Summer Tour Warmup Series

As they have in year’s past, Dave Matthews Band have launched their Summer Tour Warm Up video series as they move closer to the kickoff of their annual summer tour. For the first entry, they’ve chosen to release a pro-shot video of “So Right,” which opened the show to a wave of glowsticks (hence the stage-length curtain) on May 22, 2013 at Austin260 Amphitheater in Austin, TX.

This show is interesting for a variety of reasons, the first of those being that the band actually had to postpone the show 24 hours due to inclement weather in the Central Texas area. Once they got on stage, the group plowed through six tour debuts including the first “Help Myself” and “Say Goodbye” in quite some time. Recent collaborator Stanley Jordan sat in for a pair of tunes including the first “Cry Freedom” in three years, which featured a beautiful jam. However, the song would only be played two additional times on the band’s summer tour that year. Saxophonist Andre Hayward joined in later on for “Jimi Thing” as well.

Replay “So Right” below. DMB’s tour kicks off at the Austin360 Amphitheater on May 13.
