Watch: Dan Auerbach’s The Arcs Debut New Material at First Show

The Arcs, the newest project from The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, recently celebrated the release of their debut project, Yours, Dreamily. Auerbach wisely spent the album’s promotional cycle touting the Grateful Dead’s influence on the record, certainly garnering some interest from those who may not be into his work with The Black Keys. Thankfully, Yours, Dreamily delivers, finding Auerbach and his band in a completely unique musical space than what you may be used to if you’re a Black Keys fan. 

While the group hasn’t officially announced any tour dates as of yet, they did make their New York City debut earlier this month during a special broadcast as a part of NPR’s First Listen Live program. Filmed at the Housing Works Bookstore in New York, the band tore through twelve tracks that saw the eight-piece experiment with nearly every switch, knob and gadget on stage.
