Watch: Conan Cracks on the Grateful Dead Box Set in Monologue

Conan O’Brien had some fun with the new Grateful Dead box set last night during his monologue, as he explained to the audience that the band will release an 80-disc live set. “No word on which Grateful Dead song it’ll be,” the host said to a hearty laugh from the crowd and his band. “The band liked that one,” O’Brien said as he pointed to bandleader (and Fab Faux member) Jimmy Vivino. “It’s true,” Vivino said with a laugh.
The exchange then dipped into not-as-funny banter about angering hippies and all of the one-liners that come along with that. The initial joke, however, was well played. Watch it below.
