Watch: Bruce Springsteen Joins The Who at MusiCares Benefit

Rob Slater on May 29, 2015

The Who’s list of collaborations on (what is being called) their final tour rolls on as last night the legendary rockers brought out Bruce Springsteen in New York City as a part of the MusiCares benefit event. The Who were on hand as guitarist Pete Townshend was awarded the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for his work supporting the MusiCares MAP Fund, an organization that assists musicians with addiction recovery. Springsteen introduced the guitarist with a speech and then joined the band for a pair of tunes, “My Generation” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again.”

Earlier this month in Illinois, the band was joined by Eddie Vedder as the Pearl Jam frontman joined Roger Daltrey, Pete and Simon Townshend, Joe Walsh, Joan Jett and many others as they paid tribute to the music of The Who.
