Video: Will Ferrell and Chad Smith Settle the Score at Charity Gig

September 22, 2014

Doppelgängers Will Ferrell and Chad Smith met face-to-face once again the other night at Ferrell’s charity event, Cancer for College, held in Seattle. Smith said he was there to “settle the score once and for all.” Thankfully there was no feud like what occurred on The Tonight Show back in May, as both played (relatively) nice.

Performing under the moniker “I Pissed My Pants” (leader in the clubhouse for best new band name of 2014), this time it was Smith behind the drum kit with the Old School actor manning the cow bell on a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Honky Tonk Woman.” Joining the duo was Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan and Dave Matthews Band’s Stefan Lessard with singer Brandi Carlile handling the vocals.
