The New Pornographers celebrated the release of their latest effort, Brill Bruisers, with a fitting show at New York City’s Brill Building. The nearly 70-year old building is a musical artifact of sorts in a city full of them, playing host to many studios over the years where some of music’s finest crafted their best work.

Armed with the entire lineup, the band, including A.C. Newman, Neko Case and Dan Bejar, ripped through a 14-song set that leaned heavily on new material as well as old favorites such as “Testament to Youth in Verse,” “The Bleeding Heart Show” and more. You can now watch the full set via NPR.

A.C. Newman also took time to star in a sketch for the popular satirical site Funny or Die along with fellow comedians Julie Klausner and Jake Fogelnest. The two comedians play the final two songwriters in the famed Brill Building and don’t take too kindly to the guitarist’s latest album bearing its name. Watch below.
