IFC’s Comedy Bang! Bang! will premiere its new season on Friday and already the show seems to be churning out noteworthy musical guest spots. In this clip, Scott Auckerman hosts a fake TV show called “Retool the School” where he repairs a school’s broken down music room for the small price of $750,000.

The surprise comes later when Auckerman unveils the school’s new music teachers–The National. After its revealed that the band actually costs $300k of that bill, frontman Matt Berninger snaps, “Who do you think you’re dealing with here–those pussies in Arcade Fire?” Watch the replay below (via Consequence of Sound) and let’s hope that IFC gives the Montreal rockers a chance to respond.
