Last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon featured two musician guests on the show–Taylor Swift and Ryan Adams–and thankfully only one picked up a guitar. Supporting his forthcoming self-titled record due out September 9, Adams and his band The Shining (potentially a joke) delivered the lead single from the album “Gimme Something Good.”

Adams recently released the video for the tune, featuring Elvira’s haunting presence bugging the singer-songwriter throughout. Currently, Adams and his band are off the road but recently wrapped up a run of shows that included a headlining set at Newport Folk Festival, after which he visited MyMusicRx to cover the Grateful Dead’s “Wharf Rat.”
