The Royal Potato Family has just released the second album from  guitarist Scott Metzger (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, RANA, Nicole Atkins) and his WOLF! project. The instrumental trio also features bassist Jon Shaw (Cass McCombs, Shakey Graves, Sharon van Etten) and drummer Taylor Floreth. The group recorded 1-800-WOLF!  at Marco Benevento’s studio in Woodstock and at The Creamery Studio in Brooklyn, drawing on originals, composed live at gigs. The album grooves, swings and evokes a range of atmospheres and moods that harken back to past yet feel timeless as well.

Today we premiere the official video for “Bohemian Grove.” Metzger tells Relix that the song “was inspired by the old surf bands that all three of us love so much. Like all our stuff, it’s a simple melody that focuses on capturing a mood as opposed to being flashy or clever.”

WOLF! is currently touring in support of 1-800-WOLF! (which can be ordered via the Royal Potato Family website, including a limited edition on baby blue vinyl). The band’s upcoming appearance are listed below the video.
