The String Cheese Incident will return to the road in late June for an extended summer tour. The group also has a new studio album on the horizon and recently wrapped up a musical retreat to write new music. SCI’s summer run will open at Electric Forest and include three dates at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Looking ahead, today we premiere the band’s version of the Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil” from last year on the Rocks (the complete 7/24/15 show and many others are available on DVD, Blu-ray and download at TourGigs).

The group’s Kyle Hollingsworth tells Relix, “Summer 2016!! So psyched to get out to the festivals and open air shows. After a winter of recording and touring indoors it will refreshing to share the sunlight with all of our fans. Looking forward to playing new tunes and rocking some new venues this summer, and, of course, it’s always nice to come to our favorite venue on the planet, Red Rocks. Here’s a gem from last year. Always fun to play this tune, but have a little ‘sympathy’ for us, our hair was not perfect that evening.”
