The forthcoming self-titled album by Alberta Cross is set for release on October 16. Bandleader Petter Ericson Stakee co-produced Alberta Cross  along with Claudius Mittendorfer (Temples, Interpol, Johnny Marr). The new record expands on the group’s sound palette, with a horn section coloring many of the 12 tracks. Stakee explains, “This is the first time I’ve done everything myself. It kind of brought it back to where I’d started. I wrote all the songs. It’s a fresh start for me. That’s why it’s self-titled.” Today we premiere a video that outlines the making of the new record. The second song released from Alberta Cross, “Isolation,” appears below, along with the group’s current tour dates on the road with the Heartless Bastards.
