Video Premiere: Supersonic Blues Machine (feat Warren Haynes) “Remedy”

May 4, 2016

Supersonic Blues Machine “isn’t just a band, it’s a melting pot of ideas with like-minded people.” The pot began simmering in 2012 when Texas guitarist and singer Lance Lopez visited producer and bass player Fabrizio Grossi (Steve Vai, Dave Navarro, Joe Bonamassa). The pair recognized their chemistry and soon enlisted A-list drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp, John Fogerty, Brandon Flowers). The group’s debut record, West of Flushing, South of Frisco, features guest appearances by Billy F. Gibbons, Walter Trout, Warren Haynes, Robben Ford, Eric Gales and Chris Duarte.

Today we premiere the official video for “Remedy.” Grossi tells Relix, “‘Remedy’ is very important to us! It’s the result of us joining forces with Warren Haynes, who’s not only a dear friend, but a true legend and inspiration for us all. But ‘Remedy’ is also a great showcase for what Supersonic Blues Machine stands for – Blues, Rock, Soul, Gospel, melodic guitar work and grooves! These are our core elements, and the lyrical content is the sum of our life philosophy: tolerance, friendship, embracing the positive and using music, respect and love to connect with each other. We’re really proud of it, and honored Warren Haynes was part of it.”
