Space Above is spearheaded by Aaron Short, the New Zealand-based producer and keyboardist for The Naked and Famous. Short enlisted McCarthy (BOYBOY) and Maddie North (So Below) to join him and create the entrancing, atmospheric sounds of the project. Today we premiere the video for “Fall Through,” directed by Jordan Blady. Short explains that the song “was born out of a simple chord line on a Juno synth, written a couple of years prior to the song actually coming together. It was one of those moments where you knew you had something, but didn’t want to spoil it, so you refused to open the session until the right moment presented itself.”
