Toronto vocalist and songwriter SATE is known for her high intensity music that draws on rock, soul, funk, blues and Afropunk. NOW Magazine recently described SATE as posessing “a tornado of a stage presence.” Today we premiere video for “Know My Name.” She tells Relix, “’Know My Name’ is an anthem of fighting words. When you’ve had enough of people pushing you around or telling you who they think you are, this song is the pre-fight mantra that gets you pumped and ready to fight for your self-worth.” The song appears on her forthcoming debut album, RedBlack&Blue, which will be released on June 10th.
