On October 2, Matisyahu will release Live at Stubb’s Vol. III. The release will feature material from his ten-year career with stripped-back versions of tunes like “King Without a Crown,” “Searchin'” and others. Today, Relix is excited to premiere the video for “Running Away,” taken from Matisyahu’s post-Fare Thee Well show in Chicago. 

As Matis told Relix, “This version was recorded at City Winery in Chicago as an after show for the final Dead shows. We had the same set up as Stubbs: Rob Marcher on keys, Tim Kyper on drums, and Aaron Dugan on guitar. We also had two special guests, Jen Hartswick on vocals and Marc Brownstein aka Brownie on bass. It was great playing this song which is one of my favorite Bob [Marley] songs to play with such amazingly talented friends.”
