Video Premiere: Keb’ Mo’ “Old Me Better” (Playing for Change)

June 20, 2014

Today we premiere this video by Keb' Mo' and the California Feetwarmers performing "Old Me Better" from the new Keb' Mo' album BLUESAmericana. The video was created in partnership with Mark Johnson's Playing for Change, as Keb explains, "I just love what "Playing for Change" represents and the way they are showing up in the world." The song also appears on “PFC3: Songs Around the World,” the third installment of the Playing for Change project, which also features Keith Richards and Sara Bareilles, Los Lobos, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Taj Mahal and many more.

I think this my favorite cut off the new CD, I had played it over a bunch of times just to hear the tuba. This the first to see the video, Keb’  at his best live. I’ve seen him in KC, St. Louis and Memphis and he always has his fans ready to dance all night
