The latest release from Tuscaloosa AL’s CBDB is The FAME EP.  They recorded the album at the celebrated FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL.  In our review of the release, we noted, “CBDB combine impressive musicianship and solid songwriting with more than a hint of having a good time—a trifecta that is rarely seen in any band, let alone one as ambitious as they are. They call their genre ‘joyfunk,’ and while their current sound tends to be a bit more progressive than classic funk, there’s no doubting that these guys have fun.”  This can be seen and heard on this video for “Somewhere to Fall” which we premiere today.  This was the first song tracked during the group’s sessions at FAME. CBDB will be on tour throughout February, starting on the 2nd at the Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh, NC.
