Today we premiere a video for ALO’s “Summer Dream,” which is part of the collection. The group’s Steve Adams tells Relix,”That was a fun day meeting up with Zach in sunny LA. This was actually the first time we got to play this new ALO song together in person. Zach cut a demo of this little summer ditty some months back and when Amazon reached out about their summer playlist idea, we all agreed we already had the perfect song ready to roll. The only problem was we couldn’t meet up at one studio to cut the track together in time. Consequently, we decided to try out a new approach – record remotely from several different studios. We had our engineer be the point person to collect all the pieces and put it together. Through what ended up being a pretty painless and even fun experience, we had the song in the can! For it being a remotely recorded track, I think it turned out sounding magically cohesive.”
