As Pawnee and Eagleton prepare for their Unity Concert, Leslie Knope is charged with the task of gathering the bands, most of which have disbanded in recent time. In last night’s episode, Knope traveled to visit Scott Tanner (played by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy), former frontman for popular Pawnee outfit Land Ho! Knope and Andy do their best to convince Tanner he should reunite the fellas for the big show and Tweed….er, Tanner, eventually gives in.

During the scene, Tweedy and Andy perform a duet of “Karate Chop Master” which will certainly go up against Matt Berninger’s “Yeti, Get Ready” for Song of the Year at the Grammys.

As previously reported, the Unity Concert will also include Yo La Tengo playing the part of a (wait for it) Night Ranger cover band dressed in red sweaters. They will call themselves “Bobby Knight Ranger” in honor of the former Hoosiers basketball coach, hence the red sweaters.

Parks & Recreation producer/writer Harris Wittels wrote a hilarious and educational piece for our 40th Anniversary issue entitled “(Most) Everyone Love Phish” which you can read right here. Watch the clip below.
