In 2003, Jay-Z released The Black Album and instantly became a hit. Tunes like “Encore,” “99 Problems,” “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” and others would instantly become hits. Coincidentally enough, the record was marketed as his last studio album ever. It wouldn’t be, but that made his collaboration with Phish the next year as they embarked on what most assumed to be their final tour. As we know now–it wasn’t.

Hov jumped on stage at Brooklyn’s KeySpan Park during the second set for two songs, “99 Problems” and his then-biggest hit “Big Pimpin’.” There are so many great visuals at work here. Most of all of course is Page bouncing along to “99 Problems” as well as Jay throwing it to Phish at the end of “Big Pimpin’.” All in all, a wonderful meeting of two musical titans.
