Video: Jack White Performs at Saint-Saturnin Chapel in France

Jack White’s Lazaretto tour has landed the rock legend in some unique venues including Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, Red Rocks, Newport Folk Fest and more as well as a secret show in London where the audience was “quarantined” into a concert venue, ultimately leading to a disease outbreak that claimed the guitarist. After all of that, his most iconic performance this year may have come as a part of French website’s La Blogotheque’s Take Away Show series.

White, along with several members from his band, took over the historic Saint-Saturnin Chapel at the Chateau de Fontainebleau just outside of Paris earlier this year for a pair of performances. Directed by Colin Solal Cardo, White and his band tear into a pair of acoustic songs such as The White Stripes’ “The Same Boy You’ve Always Known” as well as his own “Entitlement” from Lazaretto.

The scenery and production speak for itself. Watch both performances below.
