David Byrne is currently headlining a wildly talented tribute to Nigerian musician William Onyeabor. In his band, named the Atomic Band, is Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem), Luke Jenner (The Rapture), Devonte Hynes (Blood Orange), Sinkane, Joshua Redman, Money Mark and The Lijadu Sisters, who are performing for the first time in nearly 30 years.

The supergroup will make their debut May 2 and 3 at BAM in Brooklym as a part of the Red Bull Music Academy Festival. They will also perform May 8 at the Greek in Los Angeles. Last night, the band made their television debut on The Tonight Show performing “Fantastic Man.”
