Video: Arctic Monkeys Encourage You to “Snap Out of It”
The latest challenger to rock’s throne comes in the form of Sheffield, UK’s Arctic Monkeys fronted by budding superstar Alex Turner and a trio of musicians behind him that produce melodic, groovy rock that harkens back to the genre’s glory days in the ’70s and ’80s. During his headlining set at Bonnaroo, Jack White commented on the band, saying that the first time he heard their song “I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor” it made him “feel good about rock and roll again.”
Now, you can watch the group’s video for their song “Snap Out of It” from 2013’s AM. Clearly, the title of the song is some sort of message to the main character in the video, as she has some affinity to the band that ends up in total breakdown.

Recently, the band conquered the What Stage on the final day at Bonnaroo with a thrilling seventeen-song set filled with tracks from AM as well as their previous four studio albums. They performed just hours before one of their self-admitted idols (Turner dedicated a song to him on stage) Elton John took the stage to close out the fest.
