Video: Arcade Fire Invite “Rob Ford” On Stage in Toronto

Arcade Fire returned somewhat close to home last night as the band began a short stay at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. As per usual on this tour, the band paid tribute to a hometown hero, this time opting for “Young Lions” by Constantines.

The antics continued on this tour, and (since the show was in Toronto) the shots were fired right at Toronto mayor Rob Ford. A Ford impersonator took the stage following a “fake band” with giant Arcade Fire heads played during the encore break. When the real band returned to the stage, they brought out Fake Rob Ford and played, appropriately, “Normal Person.” Win introduced Ford as “the most normal person I know.” Watch the full replay of the antics and Constantines cover below.

In other Arcade Fire news, Win Butler got to hoop with Toronto Raptors star Amir Johnson, and there is an awesome picture to prove it.
