“Tube” for the most part in the 3.0 era has been extremely hit or miss. The days of the ’97 “Tube” jams are long, long gone. Instead, Phish now opts for a tighter, more focused version of the song and just when it feels like they’re about to take the leap of faith into the depths of the funk world–it ends.
