_The Voice_ Wants Jason Isbell to Audition On Their Show
Alabama singer-songwriter Jason Isbell is one of the best musician/celebrities to follow on Twitter as it is, but today he shared one of the better stories when he revealed an email he received from a producer at popular NBC singing show The Voice. After sharing an excerpt, which explained that the producer “came across Jason Isbell online” and wanted him to audition, the former Drive-By Trucker guitarist said he would happily audition on the show by performing a solo vocal and French horn rendition of Neutral Milk Hotel’s “Oh Comely.”
If you think you’re having a bad day, think about this poor producer and smile. Check out the tweets below, watch Isbell play “Cover Me Up” at Austin City Limits and give Jason a follow while you’re at it.

My audition on “The Voice” will be a solo vocal and French horn rendition of “Oh Comely” by Neutral Milk Hotel. I will wear a #bikini.
