The National Play Berkeley (A Gallery)

The National took to the stage for the first of two shows at the famed Greek Theatre in Berkeley to close out this leg of their North American tour. The band mixed in cuts from their stellar LP Trouble Will Find Me along with the classics. Matt Berninger was up to his mic-stand-abusing ways, venturing into the crowd much like he does at almost every gig. For their second show in Berkeley, the band was joined by Bob Weir for a cover of “I Know You Rider.” Stuart Levine was on hand to capture some images from the first show.
