Ten Days of Bonnaroo | My Morning Jacket and Kirk Hammett

Rob Slater on May 31, 2016

If there was ever a “Son of Bonnaroo” contest, My Morning Jacket would surely win it, as the Tennessee festival has seen the Louisville rockers come through at nearly every stage in their career, last returning in 2015 for a main stage set.

While the Jacket will not find themselves on The Farm this year, they’ve carved out countless memories in Manchester over the fifteen years of Bonnaroo, so when you’re starting a “ten days to Bonnaroo” countdown, it only feels right to start with My Morning Jacket. They are synonymous with the festival and deliver one standout performance after the other, mostly in the rain for some odd reason.

Watch below as Metallica’s Kirk Hammett joins the band in 2008 for “One Big Holiday.”
