Tedeschi Trucks Band with Dickey Betts At The Beacon (A Gallery)

September 22, 2013

Tedeschi Trucks Band continued their Beacon Theatre run last night with a show full of surprises, collaborations, and covers. In addition to playing cuts off their latest album, Made Up Mind, TTB welcomed London Souls guitarist Tash Neal for a version of “I’ve Got a Feeling” early in the set. Tash and The Souls opened the show.

Later in the set, founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, guitarist Dickey Betts took the stage for takes on the Allman’s “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed” and “Blue Sky.” Betts and TTB guitarist Derek Trucks played together in the Allman’s during the 1999-2000 tour before Betts parted ways with the band.
