Sound Mirror, the second album from celebrated British psychedelic band Syd Arthur is set for release on May 20. The forthcoming record offers a multi-hued flight through Beatles-esque strings, prog-rock textures and playful, shifting rhythms. Today we premiere the official video for “Garden of Time” from Sound Mirror, and as the band explains, “We made this video ourselves from footage around Kent. Inspired by the location and a split screen camera technique. It was a spontaneous exercise that connected with the themes in the music.” The much-anticipated new recording is now available for pre-order via iTunes.

Syd Arthur has confirmed a date at New York City’s Rockwood Music Hall on March 18, along with Coachella appearances on April 12 and 19, with a full North American tour yet to be announced.
