Last week we premiered a video from The Skiffle Players.  This new project features Cass McCombs and Neal Casal on guitar and vocals, bassist Dan Horne (Jonathan Wilson, Circles Around The Sun), drummer Aaron Sperske (Beachwood Sparks) and Farmer Dave Scher (Beachwood Sparks) on keyboards and lap steel guitar. Their debut album, Skifflin’ is set for release on February 12 and the album is now available for pre-order. The record features a song with particular Mardi Gras flair, which we premiere today. The band explains, “Hey all you Fat Tuesday revelers, meet Mr. Michael Weikel! The gypsy whose intrepid moccasins are just itching to return to the dance floors of The Big Easy. Get down!”
