The Mowgli’s will release their sophomore album on April 14. Kids In Love will expand on the group’s signature harmony-laden California sound. Today we premiere “I’m Good” from the forthcoming record. The band explains, “We originally wrote the song in an afternoon as part of group of people working on an anti-bullying campaign. But it took on a life of it’s own and everyone around us kept asking about it. So we ended up re-writing it until we felt happy with what it said, and re-recorded it as proper Mowgli’s song with Captain Cuts (a production team which includes Ryan Rabin from Grouplove). Now it just feels…universal! It’s so simple, and the underlying message is clear.”
