Cole Williams (Pimps of Joytime) and Nikhil P. Yerawadekar (Antibalas, Low Mentality) recently joined each other in the studio. They describe their new single “Peaches ‘N Herb” as “our Rorschach test of Donny & Roberta, Fela and space.” Today we premiere Salme Dahlstrom’s “Salme D Peace Out Mix” of the song. Williams tells Relix, “Working with an artist and producer as proficient as Salme is one of those experiences I call a skill builder. She knows what she wants, and she knows how to ask for it. I’ve always had a blast working with her, so when I needed a remix she was definitely at the top of my list. It feels very empowering for me to be able to work with such an empowered woman.”
