July 1, 2015

Beats Antique are in a Fare Thee Well mood this week. So today we premiere the band’s cover of the Grateful Dead’s “New Speedway Boogie.” The band tells Relix, “In honor of the Grateful Deads 50th anniversary we thought we’d play tribute by covering one of their classic tunes, ‘New Speedway Boogie’ featuring Clint Maedgen  from The Preservation Hall Jazz Band on vocals and sax. On Thursday, July 2, Beats Antique will perform at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom.
