Song Premere: The Mavericks Cover Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon”
The Mavericks will launch their new record label with the release ofAll Night Live Volume 1 on October 14. Drawn from the group’s performances on 2015’s Mono Mundo Tour, the record showcases The Mavericks’ signature blend of rock, blues, Cuban, Latin and country sounds.
Today we premiere the group’s version of Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon” from the forthcoming record. The group’s Raul Malo tells Relix, “Every so often a song comes along that you just have to sing. There may be no particular reason why. Other than it is a beautiful song. And sometimes that’s all the reason you need.”
All Night Live Volume 1 is now available for pre-order. The Mavericks will be on tour over the coming months with their dates listed below the stream.
