Ryan Adams, Butch Walker, Questlove, St. Vincent Speak Out on Police Violence via Social Media
Over the last few days, many artists have used their platform to voice their thoughts and feelings on the senseless acts of violence that have occurred over the last week in Louisiana, Minnesota and Dallas. Among them, Questlove, Butch Walker, Ryan Adams, John Legend, Robert Randolph (who noted he bought three cops breakfast and was on his way to speak with pastors), St. Vincent and many others who expressed the sorrow and pain that came with these events.
Not included below is Run the Jewels’ Killer Mike, as there simply wouldn’t be enough space to include all of his thoughts. Mike has held a week-long conversation about the events on his Twitter account, which is readily available to read and will surely continue.

If you don’t see the never-ending murder of Black Americans at the hands of police as a problem, you are the problem. When does it end?

Being against cops killing is not equal to being for killing cops. We need peace in our streets.

It’s a strange perspective to view so much sad news today from another country. At a loss for adequate words.
