It’s real cool when legendary rock stars do things like Paul McCartney did last night. Presumably bored from hanging out in the California desert all week as he waits for the second weekend of Oldchella (Desert Trip), McCartney assembled his bandmates at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown, CA for a last minute show. 

The show was something out of a dream for McCartney fans, with a chance to see their favorite musician in a space that is no bigger than the living room or office you’re sitting in while reading this. As you’ll see in the video below, McCartney’s 21-song show last night was not unlike having him perform in your living room, or seeing him at The Cavern Club in Liverpool all those decades ago.
