Paul McCartney continued his press tour last night as the former Beatles member stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for an interview and a couple of performances. On top of delivering new cuts “New” and “Save Us” from his forthcoming album New due out October 15, McCartney also sat down for an interview to discuss some of his other career achievements, the invention of the “selfie” and photobomb. For a bonus, Sir Paul also performed “Lady Madonna” with his band. Two weeks ago, McCartney shut down Hollywood Boulevard on Kimmel to perform a mini-set. While this production didn’t cause the same type of traffic jam, it certainly delivered.

It appears as if the fireworks truly came before air, as McCartney rehearsed several songs that didn’t make it to air.
