Paul McCartney Listens to Kanye, More Highlights from Twitter Q&A
Paul McCartney held a Twitter Q&A to field questions from fans about his new album _NEW_ (pun intended, probably) as well as a variety of other topics. For the most part, fans stuck to the bread and butter questions, asking Macca about his favorites on the album and some ideology behind certain tunes.
The interesting bit came towards the end when someone asked Sir Paul what records he’s particularly fond of in 2013. To which the Beatles legend responded he’s been enjoying Kanye West’s latest, Yeezus, The National’s Trouble Will Find Me, Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail and The Civil Wars’ recent self-titled album. Half of The Civil Wars, Joy Williams, took to Twitter to express her appreciation. All in all, Macca has some good taste in music.
