Of Course, Liam Gallagher Chimed In on Noel Opening for U2

It didn’t take long for Liam Gallagher to comment on his brother’s newest tour dates, supporting U2 on their 30th anniversary tour of The Joshua Tree, playing massive gigs across Europe all throughout July.

For his part, Noel was gracious, saying it was an “honor and a pleasure to play my part in what still remains the greatest show on earth.” His brother took a slightly different approach, tweeting that “all that brown nosing is finally starting to pay off” for Noel. “NO SHAME,” he added.

This isn’t the first time Liam has tee’d off on Noel’s celebrity status. Back in August, Liam’s interview with Q Magazine saw him spend a considerable time on his brother, also mentioning his celebrity friends. “Put it this way, Noel lives in a £17million house. That changes you, I reckon. You have appropriate furniture, appropriate kitchens, appropriate red wine that Bono’s recommended. And Damon Albarn becomes your mate. Fair dos, but not for me.”

And this concludes another episode of “Liam vs. Noel.”
