The New York Giants traveled all the way to London for a game that kicked off early Sunday morning over here in the States. Taking on the Los Angeles Rams (yes, they’re back in LA now), Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. broke out some location-specific cleats for the game, honoring local legends The Rolling Stones and The Who.

Beckham originally sported some Burberry cleats originally during warm-ups, fully embracing the London atmosphere, but changed to cleats that matched the Giants’ colors to comply with the NFL rule that all cleats must be in the team’s colors. It definitely worked, as the Giants intercepted LA’s Case Keenum four times and Beckham hauled in five catches for 49 yards on their way to a 17-10 win across the pond.

One can only wonder if OBJ carved out some time to visit Desert Trip in California to check out both bands. Probably not.
