Mike Gordon Honored Harris Wittels in Austin with a Great Shirt

Beloved Phish fan, Parks and Rec writer and all-around funny guy Harris Wittels tragically died earlier this year. Wittels never shied away from his Phish fandom in his work, often incorporating references to the band in Parks and Rec as well as his many podcasts. Wittels got to become close with some of the band members and last night in Austin, prior to their show, Mike Gordon took to Instagram to share this shirt with Harris’ name etched into the iconic Phish logo. The caption just read “Harris.”

Wittels was always a proponent of a jammed-out “Tube,” which makes the perfect moment this year Gordon wearing that shirt while finally unleashing the “Tube” the late Wittels always wanted.

Where you can find one of these shirts remains to be seen, although surely someone is selling them with the proceeds going to a charitable foundation worth your time. Stay tuned.
