Anyone who has followed Ryan Adams throughout his career should know to expect the unexpected. Well, here is an example of the unexpected. During a session with NPR, Adams and his band The Shining (even if it’s a joke, I will forever refer to them as The Shining) debuted a cover of Foreigner’s “I Want To Know What Love Is” in all of its glory. Interestingly enough, Adams also premiered a new song during this World Cafe session–“The Door.” Listen below.
