Lions on the Moon and Col. Bruce Hampton at Greenwich Town Party (A Gallery)

Lions On The Moon featured in the “On The Verge” section of the January_February issue of Relix, opened the main stage at the annual Greenwich Town Party over Memorial Day Weekend joining CJ Chenier and The Red Hot Louisiana Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, John Fogerty, and Daryl Hall & John Oates for a full day of music. Tri-state’s young rockers LOTM, aged 14-16, welcomed their friend and mentor, Col. Bruce Hampton for a couple covers including “All Along The Watchtower” and “Yield Not To Temptation”.

Also teaming up with LOTM’s Nick Winegardner, Henry Thomas and Dylan Niederauer was their good friend and talented young guitarist Bobby Paltauf. Bobby stepped in for Brandon “TAZ” Niederauer who is currently performing in Broadway’s School of Rock. Additional guests included Ray Ippolito on percussion and Rang-A-Boom horn players Shane Kirsch and Jeff Pettit. Greg Horowitz shared some photos from the show.
