Julian Casablancas Stars in Daft Punk’s “Instant Crush” Video

Daft Punk released their latest video for “Instant Crush” today, featuring The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas. The video, which is inspired by The Stedfast Tin Soldier by Hans Anderesen, depicts the love story between a toy soldier and a paper ballerina. Directed by Warren Fu, the video also features Tony Gardner, who served as the lead make-up artists for Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video.
Also, in true Alfred Hitchcock style, the Daft Punk helmets make a brief cameo towards the end. See if you can spot them.
