Joe Russo’s Almost Dead at Brooklyn Bowl (A Gallery)

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead returned to where it all started for them as the ensemble headlined the Brooklyn Bowl for three nights last weekend. The band, which finds Russo teaming with Marco Benevento, Scott Metzger, Tom Hamilton and Dave Dreiwitz, presented three nights of energetic Grateful Dead and other covers like Bruce Springsteen’s “Atlantic City,” Russo/Benevento’s “Becky” and others.
